Ground was broken for the house excavation on November
7!

At the end of
the first day, the topsoil had been removed ...

... and it was
now ready to bring in the heavy equipment.

|

By the end of
the week, it became apparent that there was more
than just plain dirt below the surface.
|
|
|
The house sits
on top of a rocky ridge and, sure enough, about
3 feet down the ridge became apparent through
the middle of the basement.
